I wanted to write you a letter and express my love for you. I know you have struggled with Lyme for years now, and I know that there are days you don’t want to get out of bed, stand on your feet all day at work, or even be around people. Somehow though, you do those things anyway.
I hope you know that I am here for you in whatever capacity you need. I am always honored when you choose to share your struggles with me and know that it’s difficult for you to share. I don’t know exactly what you go through but am sure that there are very hard days you trudge through and struggle, in silence.
You are a strong and capable woman and I look to you more than you know on the days when I feel like I can’t go on: you give me strength to continue with grace and gratitude. You are beautiful inside and out and are always looking to help others, even when you are struggling yourself. That my beautiful sister is the strength of a goddess!
Thank you for the light you share with the world, your children, your family, your clients and all who know you. And, the smile you show….even when you don’t feel like smiling. I love you so much, and am so grateful to call you family.
During Lyme Awareness Month, we’re publishing #LymeLetters written by those affected by Lyme Disease. Be sure to check out the rest of the letters here and to follow us @LymeNow on Facebook and Instagram.
